Sophon Capital Management is a new research platform we started, initially because we felt writing about our investments added rigor to our due diligence process as we did consulting work for a family office. Over time, we realized that family offices, RIAs, and individual investors could benefit from actionable, buy-side quality research at an affordable price. At Sophon, we look for two types of opportunities:

1.) Secular ROIC compounders trading at GARP multiples
2.) Value, event-driven special situations, usually with a short-term (<1 year) catalyst
